Unit3  Snowy Days, Rainy Days

【课题名称】

Unit3  Snowy Days, Rainy Days

【教材版本】

陈琳主编,中等职业教育课程改革国家规划新教材,全国中等职业教育教材审定委员会审定。外语教学与研究出版社。

【教学目标与要求】

一、知识目标:

1)C层:掌握三个基本句型(What’s the weather like … / What are you going to do … / You’d better (not)…),并准确朗读对话。

2)B层:背诵三个基本句型(同上),并流利朗读对话。

3)A层:背诵三个基本句型(同上),并编写对话。

二、能力目标:各层学生均能使用各自所应掌握的句型进行简单的日常对话。

三、素质目标:培养学生与人沟通和交流的能力。。

四、教学要求:掌握描述天气的词汇并能朗读、理解对话以及重要词汇、句型的运用。

【教学重点】

1、掌握并运用三个基本句型

2、朗读对话,并在设定情境下补全对话

【难点分析】

  1. A层完成对话模编。

2、以小组为单位,A、B、C三层共同完成对话表演。

【学生分析】

1、对于不同专业(旅游、机电、电子)学生,知识分析的深刻程度可不一样;

  本班级旅游专业,女生相对多些,绝大部分学生英语基础薄弱,而且两级差异很大。所以对英语学习没兴趣、没信心。有几个学生思想特别懒散,课堂要关注所有学生,真有些困难。

2.关注学习方法,提高学习效率和效果。

【教学设计思路】

教学方法:任务型教学、讲练法、情景模拟法、归纳总结法。

【教学资源】英语网络课程,电视,ppt、视屏

【教学安排】

1学时(40分钟)

教学步骤:讲授与模拟交叉进行、讲授与练习交叉进行,最后进行归纳…

【教学过程】

Practice the oral training .   Who on to try?  T:  What’s the weather like?

How is the air?                  How about speaking?  (clap!!!)

 

Step1:  Revision   : Look at the weather report and make dialogues.

 

A:   What’s the weather like in London today?    B:   It’s rainy.

Watch a video:

Lead—in  (视频)  提问:what day? (什么日子a snowy day), do(做什么build a Snowman)

Let’s do a piarwork.

 

What do you usually do on snowy days? I usually play with the snow.

What do you usually do on rainy days? I usually go to the library. (go to the school gym)

Next, what are Jane and Bill going to do on snowy days?

Step2: Presentation

Task1--- (First) Learning the new words and expressions.

      We have already learned the words.    Then read them together.

 

Lovely   alrealy  on the ground    go outside (go out)

Snowman (make/build a Snowman )   coal (use coal for his eyes)   carrot(use a carrt for his nose)  funny    hat             glove(a pair of gloves

Task2--- Learning the dialogue.

1、Listen to the dialogue   (For the first one,

Next    T:   What are Jane and Bill going to do a snowy day? 

              S:  make/build a Snowman       

2、 Listen again and complete the dialogue

 

3、Ask the students to read the dialogue in role and decide the true or flase.

 

4、Ask the students to do a role-play .

     Let’s do a role-play.

Jane:  Wow, it’s a lovely day!

  Bill:  Yes, there is already a lot of snow on the ground.

Jane:  Let’s go outside and build a snowman.

   Bill:  Good idea. I’m going to use coal for his eyes and a carrot for his nose.

Jane: That’ll be funny. OK, I’m going to  give him my hat and gloves.

Bill: Great! Let’s go!

 

5、Explain some language points:

key sentences:

Step3:   Consolidate  ---  be going to

Task1:表示 “近期”或“打算”要做的事情,往往 用be going to的句型。

eg:

It’s giong to rain tomorrow.

 

We are going to have an English class tomorrow morning.

 

Be(am/is/are) going to+v.

 

Task2:Complete the dialogue,using be going to

 

A:    Are you going to have a paty tonight?

B:   Yes,we                        have a party at 7.00

   this evening. What’s the weather like today?

A:   It’s                        rain.  Report says so .

B:   If so, we                             have a party

      in the  house.

Step4: Practice

Tom is a London boy. He is going to play football tomorrow. His mother gives him some suggestions. Now read to the dialogue between them.

Mother:  Tom, what are you going to do tomorrow?

  Tom:    I’m going to play football with my classmates.

Mother:  The weather report says that tomorrow is going to rain. You'd better not play outside.

Tom:  All right. I guess we can play table tennis in the school gym instead then.

Mother:  Fine but keep warm. It will only be 10°C tomorrow.

  Tom:  OK.

当我们提出意见时,可以说:

You’d better ( not )...do sth.

Eg:    You’d better go home on time.

It’s going to rain. You’d better take an umbrella.

You’d better not go home later.

B层:1流利朗读对话。

          b. 你明年有什么打算?

A层:  1、背诵三个基本句型并编写对话。

           2、Chinese to English

       a. 你最好不要玩游戏太晚。

       b. 你最好不要上课迟到。

Teaching   reflection(教学反思)

----Unit3  Snowy Days, Rainy Days

 

 

本节是第三单元的第二课时,教学时间为40分钟,采用任务型教学,以活动贯穿始终,体现了学生主体作用,较好完成了教学。

一、分层次教学法,承认了学生的个体差异,真正做到了以学生为主体,

区别的制定出教学目标和教学要求,设计教学内容,控制教学进度,变换授课方式,面向全体学生,让每名学生都有所得,“由不会变会,由少会变多会,由多会变更好”。

二、内容贴近学生生活,由于涉及教学内容是雪天和雨天,所以将课题更改为《Snowy Days, Rainy Days。学生课后指出课题写错了(课上指出更好,表明用意);讨论话题雪天、雨天做的事情(学生没讨论起来);视屏不仅给学生总体感知,也激起兴趣。

三、新教材的单元活动设计科学,注重过程,形式多样。结构灵活开放,满足学生不同需求。第一篇对话相对简单,增加了第二篇稍有难度的话题(设计成据提示编写对话,可能会好些)。以任务为导向,培养综合语言应用能力等新的特色,为教师成功授课奠定坚实的基础。

四、不足之处:

1)课上中文讲解过多,有待改进。

2)教学时间安排稍作调整,学生运用语言知识方面应有充足时间保证。导致总结有些草率、匆忙;板书也有待改进。

3)以学生个体回答问题次数予以奖励,虽然调动了学生的学习热情,但忽视了团队合作精神。在个体基础上增加小组竞争会好些。

4)各授课环节间的过渡语言需优化,在今后教学中应运用更有效的语言

使各个环节衔接的更加流畅。
